This week we lost another brave soul who stood up for his country. Justin was a man that served his country with honor and always had the backs of his friends and family. Unfortunately, the demons won. Justin left behind a wife and daughter and I am sick of this happening. There is more we can do. There is more we must do.
If you, family member, friend, acquaintance, or veteran stranger you met on a bus is having mental issues related to depression and/or PTSD, PLEASE HELP THEM. Do not wait to see how they handle things. Don’t just tell yourself “nah, not <NAME>… they would never do something like that.” Get them help. I would rather piss off a friend by getting them help, than burry them wishing I had.
